Strong Boys Need Space to Feel
A structured, movement-integrated youth development program that strengthens engagement, emotional regulation, and confidence among adolescent boys through facilitated exercise and guided conversation in school and community settings.

The Reality
Many boys are taught to suppress emotions early. Anger, shutdown, or silence become default coping tools. And talking alone doesn't always work for boys.
13%
of young men with mental health issues access mental health services
40%
of men won't talk to anyone about their mental health
48%
of mental health issues begin before age 18
"You can't expect boys to talk if they've never felt safe enough to open up."

Our Approach
Movement lowers defenses so conversation can happen naturally.
Move the Body
Calisthenics help boys release stress, regulate emotions, and build discipline through physical movement.
Slow The Mind
Guided reflection helps boys notice what they're feeling without pressure to perform or explain.
Use Their Voice
Structured conversations help boys build emotional language and the confidence to express themselves.
Who THis is For
Calisthenics & Conversation is designed for boys who were never taught how to process emotions, only how to endure.
- Middle and high school boys
- Boys who struggle with anger or emotional outbursts, shutdown, or silence
- Boys lacking confidence or emotional vocabulary
- Boys who need tools they were never taught
"This isn't about fixing boys. It's about giving them tools they were never taught."
- The C&C Philosophy
The Founder
Coach Rob Nisby
Mentor, Coach, and Community Leader
Rob grew up in survival mode, navigating life without the emotional guidance he needed from consistent male mentors. This led to isolation, emotional outbursts, and substance abuse to deal with the silent battles no one knew about. He lost friends and watched too many boys struggle in silence.
He created Calisthenics & Conversation to give boys a safe space, tools, and guidance he never had growing up. A place where strength includes vulnerability, and where boys can learn to lead with both their bodies and their words.
